From an empty screen to a running project: set it up, plan what comes next, and bring in your agents. On your own or with your team.

Work items, wiki, files and conversations all belong to one project. Its short key, like WEB, is how you refer to items: WEB-12.
An epic is a big undertaking, a goal is one outcome inside it, a task is one concrete step. That is all the structure you need to start.
Your AI agent connects over MCP and works on the same items you do. It can also do the whole setup for you.
Create an API key for MCP in Manager and add it to Claude Code, your IDE or any other agent client. From then on your agent works in Manager the way you do.
Click "New Project" and choose to set it up with your AI agent. It interviews you about what you are planning and creates the project to match: name, key, description and the template with its types and statuses.
Say to your agentManager: Let's create a new project and interview me about my idea.
Tell your agent what you want to reach next. It breaks that into goals and tasks, each with a description, a priority and, if it matters, a due date. You review, reprioritise, and it adjusts.
Say to your agentManager: Ask me what I want to reach next and plan it as goals and tasks with priorities and due dates.
What does not fit in a task (plans, decisions, contacts, how things are done) goes into the wiki, and your agent keeps it current. Existing documents in Word, PDF or Markdown come in as pages directly.
Say to your agentManager: Turn my existing documents into wiki pages and keep them current from now on.
Choose how much the AI project manager gets involved, from switched off to active. Working with others? Bring them in now or later.
Your agent takes on the first task, moves it to in progress and marks it done when it is finished. You follow every step on the board. That is the whole loop. Rather set things up by hand? The "New Project" dialog walks you through it without an agent too.
Say to your agentManager: Start the first task and mark it done when it is finished.
The PM agent keeps an eye on the backlog, your agent works through tasks, and everything that happens lands in one place. The other guides show what Manager looks like for a specific kind of project.
